Abstract
The present research work has been carried out in the context of Indian solutions to global problems through holistic health based on the Pragyayoga Sadhana Protocol. Pragyayoga Sadhana includes a complete integration of an ideal and excellent daily routine, from early morning awakening to night-time rest. Along with this, it incorporates the essence of all three paths—Jnana Yoga, Karma Yoga, and Bhakti Yoga.
Under Jnana Yoga, contemplative practices are included, in which self-awareness is practiced at the time of morning awakening and tattvabodha (realization of fundamental principles) is practiced at the time of night rest. Under Karma Yoga, the asana-based practice includes sixteen yogic postures. Under Bhakti Yoga, the worship-oriented practices include self-purification, deity worship, chanting of the Gayatri Mantra, meditation on the Savita deity, offering water to the Sun (Suryarghya), and conclusion of the practice (visarjana).
This Pragyayoga Sadhana Protocol can be practiced by children, women, and men of all age groups. If an individual is physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy, they can find solutions to every problem. Individuals form society, society forms the nation, and nations together constitute the world. Therefore, the present study examines Indian solutions to global problems through holistic health based on the Pragyayoga Sadhana Protocol.
