Man is a social being. Whereas society is dynamic. Social change sometimes brings a pleasant situation for humans and at times becomes a crisis. In a disaster, man has to face a similar crisis. Sometimes it takes a lot of time for the society to recover from such a hazard, while at times it makes the circumstances favourable. Positive communication has played a special role in adapting to the adverse circumstances of such a disaster. Currently the whole world is fighting with the coronavirus pandemic. The World Health Organization declared it a global disaster in January 2020. India has also not remained untouched by the Corona crisis. Janata curfew was imposed in India on 22 March 2020. Since then the order of lockdown was issued throughout India and it was declared a national calamity. The Indian public faced such a crisis for the first time, in which they did not know how to overcome a situation like this. Desolate roads, secluded villages-towns, as if humans were imprisoned. No one has ever witnessed such a scene before. In such times, communication and information make a very important contribution.The people will get attracted towards the kind of information and communication available. Through the means of journalism, mass communication takes place. In this case, both positive and negative communication were seen. While negative communication arouses feelings of fear, tension, violence, etc. positive communication communicates fearlessness, courage, happiness, joy, etc. Here, through the examples of positive communication, an effort was made to understand the possible positive communication during a crisis. The role of positive communication in the Corona crisis period has been studied.
