To fulfill this objective, 20 male participants were selected by the random sampling method from Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh in the age group of 20-35. A tool called a keratometer was used to test astigmatism in the selected participants. This instrument measures the curvature of the cornea present in the eye. Jal- neti, sutra- neti, eye sanyam, pranayama and mudra were practised as an hour and 30 minutes yogic package for 90 days. In this research 'pre-post test single group' research design was used and the data obtained were analyzed by paired t-test. The value of T obtained from statistical analysis has been found to be significant at the 0.01 level, leading to the conclusion that yogic practice reduces astigmatism.
ER -
